BMPC Canada represents a proposed class of investors in lithium-ion battery recylcing company, Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. (“Li-Cycle”). Plaintiff in this action alleges that Defendants made various misrepresentations and omissions regarding, among other things, the conditions the Department of Energy required before Li-Cycle would receive a loan to build out a hub in the city of Rochester, NY. Plaintiff and class members are alleged to have suffered losses and damages by acquiring Li-Cycle’s common shares at artificially inflated prices and holding some or all of those shares until after one or more of the Public Corrective Disclosures.
Gregg Edwards was retained by BMPC Canada to provide expert testimony relating to the computation of class-wide damages and ill-gotten gains to the Individual Defendant.
