Paramount Global Agrees to $167.5 Million Settlement in Connection With 2019 CBS/Viacom Merger

Paramount Global agreed to a $167.5 million settlement to end a class action lawsuit alleging breaches of fiduciary duties in connection with the negotiation and approval of the 2019 merger between CBS Corporation and Viacom Inc.

Gregg Edwards was retained to assist Plaintiffs’ expert, Murray Beach of BCG Capital during expert discovery and trial.
